Having a love of art,  Rachel Kierann completed a Diploma in Colour and Design at the School of Colour and Design and has continued to learn and grow her skills over the years.

Rachel’s work is inspired by nature in all its forms. Having always spent time out in the great outdoors, whether by the beach or by the bush she draws on time spent enjoying nature around her.
Rachels art creates a moment in time, drawing from those memories and her surroundings.

She is intrigued and curious by natures power & notion of transition. It is constantly changing and evolving. It's also the positive affects of nature to our wellbeing that is fascinating. Just breathe it in!
By painting in layers using acrylic inks, paints and mixed media  she tries to capture that curiosity, creating more interest in a work.
In a world that often moves too quickly to notice the small miracles that surround us, Rachel hopes that her art serves as a reminder to pause, to breathe, and to reconnect with the earth beneath our feet
